Long, dark green but transparent single Tourmaline crystal from recent production at the famous St. Anne's mine in Zimbabwe. Tourmaline has been very rare from this mine historically, which has primarily targeted blue Topaz. Though dark, it is transparent facet grade throughout with a more greenish brown at the tip and a bright pure green over the rest of the crystal. The crystal has a natural 'bend' near the base caused by natural fracturing and rehealing processes during the crytal's growth. Complete and undamaged and weighs 8.52 grams.From: Marin Minerals
