A beautiful and sculptural specimen of tourmaline var. elbaite crystals decorated with white albite from Stak Nala, Skardu District, Pakistan. This specimen comes from the renowned collection of Gerhard Wagner, Germany (no label), which adds provenance and value to the piece. The elbaite crystals have a marvelous color variation from dark-green in the lower part, to apple-green at the top – very pastel and pleasing. The crystals are very well terminated, transparent and gem with a high luster and superb surface striations. They are doubly terminated. On the tourmaline are nestled white albite crystals, giving a strong contrast and aesthetics. In very good condition – some small nicks and back side coating. On acrylic base., Magnificent!,
