Beautiful and rare specimen of epididymite with albite and aegirine and from the famous Poudrette quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. The prismatic hexagonal crystals of epididymite are very well shaped and sharp. They have porcelain white-cream color. Transparent, colorless plate crystals of albite with good luster grow above. Black aegirine blades are seen on the back side. For references see the 1990 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 21, # 4. In very good condition – some small contacts.
