An aesthetic and unique style specimen of albite from the famous Poudrette quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. Colorless albite forms very flat, sharp tabular crystals. They are opaque and lustrous. Black aegirine needle is seen too. For references see the 1990 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 21, # 4. In very good condition – base part contact.
