new find - iridescent PYRITE (Ref: 22583)

A fantastic specimen of iridescent pyrite crystals from an exciting new find in Beruang Tengah Prospect, Central Kalimantan Province, Indonesia. We obtained it with indication that it comes from Bengkulu Province, Indonesia, but the morphology resembles Beruang Tengah Prospect in Central Kalimantan Province. These pyrites are very distinctive. The crystals are highly lustrous and shiny cubes with brassy yellow color. They have pretty beveled edges and sharp shape. The faces are nicely colored with rainbow iridescence. On the back side are seen quartz. In very good condition – some micro nicks and one crack.
