Very bright, brassy pyritohedrons of Pyrite, the largest measuring 46 x 45 mm from the classic Italian locality. Bright, black specular Hematite has been removed from its base to reveal that this is an almost complete floater specimen. It is in excellent condition, with just one area of contact. Likely from the 1960 or earlier, from the collection of Earl Calvert, a well-known Southern California collector.
