Classic California specimen of black Neptunite crystals on schist matrix. Lustrous black crystals of Neptunite are present associated with white Natrolite. While Benitoite is best known from this defunct locality, Neptunite also reached it's zenith here, the world's best of species. The Neptunite crystal reach 2cm in size. This specimen was recently etched from some of the last remaining mine rough and has never been offered for sale before.
