gem bi-terminated TOURMALINE var. ELBAITE multicolor, QUARTZ (Ref: 22002)

A superb crystal of multicolor doubly terminated tourmaline var. elbaite of 25 mm with quartz and albite from Stak Nala, Skardu District, Pakistan. The elbaite crystal has marvelous color variation from very dark green-black in the middle, apple-green above to pink at the caps – very pastel and pleasing. The crystal is sharp, complete all over and doubly-terminated. It has good luster and surface striations. The caps are transparent and gem. On the tourmaline is nestled doubly terminated quartz crystal. It is smoky and lustrous with sharp shape. Some white albite is seen too. It displays aesthetically from many sides. In very good condition – some small nicks. With acrylic base – not glued., Magnificent!,
