A truly outstanding combination piece with sapphire-blue Apatite, up to almost 1 cm , very centrally perched on a matrix of tabular Muscovite and white Albite, accompanied by smaller ´cousins´ from well known Golconda pegmatite in Brazil. This beauty is gem-like to translucent and features a sharp crystal form and sharp termination. The color is very good for this species, and the balance and aesthetics are first-class. These crystals occurred only once, in the early 2000s, in this size and with this contrast to the beautiful matrix. Many called them ´Paraiba apatite´ at the time.
