Large, dark green but transparent single Tourmaline crystal from recent production at the famous St. Anne's mine in Zimbabwe. Tourmaline has been very rare from this mine historically, which has primarily targeted blue Topaz. Most Tourmaline found here occur as small pencil-like crystals and this large crystal in an anomaly. Though dark, it is transparent facet grade green throughout with a more greenish brown color at the termination. There is a bit of edge chipping along one side, otherwise it's complete all around and perfect. Weighs a hefty 50.8 grams.
