A nice, sizable Phenakite from Colorado. The old labels say Phenakite on Adularia, they are somewhat transparent and glassy. The main crystal is big for the locale at 1.1 CM, it has a fine glassy luster and is in good condition With magnification it seems to show some twinning and has unusually curved faces formed from several offset faces. A nice affordable Mt. Antero specimen.
