A superb and rare specimen of gemmy epididymite crystals with aegirine from the famous Poudrette quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. The colorless and translucent to transparent crystals of epididymite are very well shaped, and sharp. They have hexagonal prismatic habit. Usually these are white and opaque - epididymite with such quality is very rare. The faces are glassy and lustrous. Black aegirine crystals are seen too.
