A marvelous specimen of tourmaline var. rubellite from one of the most unusual tourmaline finds of all time in Momeik Township, Myanmar. It displays a trigonal rubellite cap with raspberry color. It is waxy lustrous to matt. The stem is black tourmaline var. schorl. Interestingly the core is formed by standard prismatic crystal, which is quite unique presentation of two habits.
