Marvelous octahedral hausmannite crystals with garnet var. andradite from the famous Kalahari manganese fields, South Africa. Hausmannite forms sharp, pagoda like structures. The crystals have a black color and strong metallic luster. Small red-brown andradite crystals are seen on the back side. The world’s finest hausmannite comes from the Kalahari Manganese Field and this one is a cool specimen. In excellent condition. On acrylic base., Fantastic!,
