What a magnificent combination specimen from La Cabaña in the Spanish Berbes mining district! An extremely perfect, faint but clearly purple Fluorite single crystal, measuring 1.2 cm on edge. It sits prominently exposed on a matrix of creamy white to beige Calcite scalenohedrons. This incredibly sharp crystal has a captivating translucency, with colorless sections alternating with purple ones on the inside. The main cube is accompanied by a smaller, pale purple Fluorite cube that is difficult to make out on the pictures.
