Almandine Garnets on Matrix from Austria (Ref: WM22-SMALM)

This beautiful almandine garnet cluster has a total of 5 intergrown garnet crytals on it. In ambient lighting they have a burgundy color, but when light hits them they light up blood-red as in the photos. As with most Austrian Almandine Garnet specimens the faces have been cleaned & buffed.
