At first glance you might think these are Almandine Garnets from the famous Gurgler Valley location in Austria, but these are actually from Italy. Here is a cluster of 3 garnets on matrix, and the largest garnet measures 2.6cm wide. On the back side you can see where other garnets once resided. This specimen dates back to the 1980's. Sorry.
