Imayoshiite with Bultfonteinite, Tobermorite (Group) y Andradite (Ref: MFG10AO0)

Shijiangshan Mine, Yinwu, Linxi, Ulanhad League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region  China
41mm x 37mm x 19mm
New for 2021 and, in all probability, the best known so far for the species. Imayoshiite occurs as numerous very sharp crystals, with a tabular shape and hexagonal outline, transparent, very lustrous and colorless to slightly yellow, which occur together with spheroidal growths of pink-orange Bultfonteinite, with small white fibrous coatings of a Tobermorite-Clinotobermorite, on Andradite matrix.
The specimen has been analyzed and we will send a copy of the analysis to the buyer. If you want to go deeper into the species and the paragenesis of this mine, you can consult the article by Menor-Salván, C.; Ottens, B.; Richard, E. “Rare borate minerals from the Shijiangshan-Shalonggou Deposits, Hexigten Banner, Inner Mongolia, China.” Rocks & Minerals, 96(5) (September/October 2021).
