Arsenopyrite with Pyrite (Ref: GR104)
Madem-Lakko Mine, Stratoni operations, Chalkidiki Prefecture, Macedonia Department, Greece
44mm x 31mm x 21mm
minID: 7E4-8EQ
$175
An excellent example of bright, lustrous, brassy Arsenopyrite crystals to 7 mm, associated with iridescent Pyrite cubes to 2 mm. The luster makes this Arsenopyrite very hard to photograph. This is a nice example from this classic Greek locality which closed in 1974, and no longer produces such fine specimens. No damage.Data last checked on 30th Jul 2025
