Nikolaevskiy Mine, Dal'negorsk (Dalnegorsk; Tetyukhe; Tjetjuche; Tetjuche), Kavalerovo Mining District, Primorskiy Kray, Far-Eastern Region, Russia
This is an aesthetic combo piece from Dalnegorsk, Russia. Running down the middle are multiple, colorless, fluorite crystals. Flanking it on both sides a sceptered quartz crystals, and on the right side is a dark mineral which we believe to be etched Pyrrhotite. The fluorite is glass-clear on the interior with mostly frosted faces. A few faces are like glass windows that let you see inside the colorless crystals. The quartz crystals appear to be multi-generational with the long, thin stems covered in a off-white mineral. The quartz crystals on the tips, however, are clear and must have grown later. The dark mineral on the right side is most likely etched Pyrrhotite based on the black-gold color and layered appearance.
