Hematite var. Martite from Argentina (Ref: DC21-MART)

Martite is the varietal name for a hematite pseudomorph after cuprite. This one is particularly aesthetic and looks much better in person. It is hard to capture this in a photo because the surface is actually quite shiny and sparkly. It looks more like galena in the photos, but in person it is much more interesting.
