An unusual, distinct Elbaite crystal from Nuristan, Afghanistan. The upper half is colorless (Achroite) with a green band in the center and a light pink color at the base. Pristine and complete with a multi-faceted termination. Achroite is rare and one of the hardest types of Tourmaline to find. Weighs 9.55 grams. Ex.
