Cluster of smokey Quartz amost entirely covered by Spessartine garnets. This was from the Jeanne Rosati collection and came with a Trinity Mineral Company label that called a psuedomorph of Spessartine after Quartz. A small amount of smokey Quartz crystal can be seen in the tips of the 3 largest 'fingers' of Spessartine. Well crystallized all around and undamaged. There is no matrix and even part of the bottom is covered by Spessartine crystals.Data last checked on 21st Jan 2022 - specimen may no longer be available
