Blocky, well-defined Babingtonite crystals perched on a contrasting green Prehnite. In fine condition as seen, the Babingtonites have a mixed luster, some faces and areas are slightly matte while others are more shiny. A few years ago this find produced a treasure trove of Babingtonites, the best and largest ever seen. The source seems to have been finished and these are now becoming scarce. The better pieces have the botryoidal green Prehnite matrix like this one. From: Well-Arranged Molecules
