Creedite (Ref: 19.1-756)
Mina Navidad, Abasolo, Rodeo, Durango, Mexico
52mm x 32mm x 38mm
minID: 0W8-3DL
Radiating cluster of very distinct Creedite crystals that are free standing, reaching nearly 3 CM tall. Aside from the much larger than usual crystals, this has very rich color, some transparency and fine luster. Mina Navidad has been the source of nearly all good orange Creedites, a mineral usually colorless or brown (rarely purple) and usually in much smaller crystals. This is far above average miniature, excellent for the size and especially esthetic. From: Well-Arranged Molecules
