A super sharp, perfect gemmy zoned Carletonite crystal from the only locality where these were ever found, Mont St Hillaire. Glassy luster and some complex growth structures on a few faces add interest. A rare yet sometimes beautiful mineral, Carletonite has not been found for many years, it seems the one small zone that produced these was unique and there will likely never be more. Very few Carletonites were this clear, sharp and undamaged, most of the larger crystals were far more crude or had considerable damage. This small crystal is 1.2 CM diagonal, looks great on all sides and is a killer for the speci
