From the earliest finds of several years ago this is a classic San Pedro Corralitos Mimetite. More recent finds never reached the quality of that original discovery. The very best have a wet-look luster, super bright color and very high price tags when available. They are world class. This piece is really good (far better than many) and has excellent three dimensionality, but does not quite reach the color and luster that would add a zero to the price. An excellent value for a very pretty Mimetite. The form is classic and displays well only a few very minor contacts are noted.
