Very unusual and rare combo specimen of garnet var. andradite with vesuvianite from Mine Lac dAmiante, Quebec, Canada. It displays sharp andradite crystals up to 1mm. The color is light apple-green. They have a sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit. They are from translucent to transparent and gemmy with a strong luster. Olive green, prismatic vesuvianite crystals grow among the garnets. They are with glassy luster and gem. This is very uncommon combination. It shows all over 360 degree. In very good condition – some small damages. On acrylic base., Choice combo from this closed mine!,
