A beautiful and sculptural specimen of skeletal halite with tolbachite inclusions from Sieroszowice mine, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland.  It comes from the collection of Lou Conti. It displays sharp cubic halite crystals, growing in a three dimensional cluster. The crystals have skeletal habit caused by very fast growth of the mineral where the crystal faces do not have the time to be completed, because the edges grow faster than the center of the faces. It displays very attractive stepped growth, forming gorgeous terraced structures. The color is red-brown due to tolbachite inclusions. Tolbachite is very rare copper halide, identified in only a handful of locations worldwide. It displays attractively all over. Must NOT be washed. In excellent condition. On acrylic base., Outstanding!,
