An impressive 37mm sturmanite crystal from the famous N Chwaning Mines, Kalahari manganese fields, South Africa. It displays an orange colored crystal with good hexagonal prismatic shape and matt luster. It is complete all over and doubly terminated. For references see the 2017 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 48, # 1. In very good condition – some natural imperfections and minor nicks.
