A stunning flower-like calcite with beautiful display from Wenshan Mine, Yunnan Province, China. It shows a narrower calcite stem adorned with a diadem of horizontal, flat, transparent calcite crystals. At the top, several perfectly formed, razor-sharp crystals create a bouquet, producing a remarkable and lifelike floral appearance. The crystals are strongly lustrous. They are colorless with orange and yellow hue. It is complete all over. It is fluorescent. In excellent condition – some small contacts at the back side.
