A fascinating specimen of gem hessonite garnet crystals decorated with clinochlore from Laietto, Piedmont, Italy. The hessonite crystals to 3mm are gem with rich and saturated red-brown color. They have a sharp crystallization with strong luster and nicely reflect the light. Green clinochlore rosettes add a nice accent. In very good condition – some outside edge contacts and small nicks. On acrylic base., Wonderful!,
