A mesmerizing specimen of gemmy spinel crystals sitting on a white marble base from Mogok Township, Myanmar. The spinel crystals to 8mm are sharp octahedrons with a good shape. The quality is very good – translucent to transparent and gemmy crystals. They have a striking and saturated raspberry-red color and good luster. The white base outlines strongly the spinels and they form an excellent focal point at the top. For references see the 2022 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 53, # 1. In very good condition – some natural imperfections. On acrylic base., Gorgeous!,
