FLUORITE - SPINEL LAW TWIN (Ref: 22229)

An outstanding and rare specimen of spinel law twined fluorite crystal from the famous Erongo Mountain, Namibia. It features large, blocky fluorite crystal with very clean, sharp edges and smooth faces. It has a superb and uncommon spinel law twining. The fluorite has a pale lilac coloration with soft internal zoning and semi-transparent, frosted crystal faces that give the piece a luminous, icy appearance. Minor natural etching or growth patterns add texture. It is decorated with sharp truncated cuboctahedral fluorite crystals at the lower part. They are small with good transparency and rich green color. The faces are matt lustrous with attractive dark phantoms at the center. These green crystals contrast strongly with the purple fluorite and give the piece extra complexity.  Complete all over. In excellent condition. On acrylic base., Exceptional!
