This excellent matrix piece features both,- sharp-edged and multifaceted crystals as well as large, melted-looking crystal aggregates of silver sulfosalt Acanthite. This is an astonishing and completely unique association of seemingly melted Acanthite ´crystals,´ partially densely intergrown with sharp-edged crystals of the same species from the famous silver mines of Fresnillo, Mexico. The largest of these crystals reach up to 1.5 cm in size, have a very fresh metallic luster, a lead-gray color, and are nicely and contrastingly perched on glistening Quartz microcrystals. As little bonus there is a water-clear, modified Fluorite cube at the center of the piece.Data last checked on 5th Jun 2025
