This is a Alabandite from Merelani Hills, Lelatema Mtns., Simanjiro Dist., Manyana Region, Tanzania. Exceptional sharp edged black octahedral crystal with modified edges, this is a superb thumbnail from modern finds around 2012, that produced what are generally thought to be the best formed crystals of this rare species.
