Heliodor (Ref: 5371)

A classic yellow Heliodor crystal in absolute gem quality, high luster and completely undamaged from the famous finds of the 1980s from the Ukrainian Volodarsk-Volynskii deposit, a famous and huge pegmatite district in Northern Ukraine. This locality is known for its sought-after Heliodor specimens. The classic yellow color with a touch of green, the unique appearance with the unmistakable etching on prism faces and termination make these pieces a must for any collection, not just of gem minerals. While these pieces were relatively common at mineral shows a few short decades ago, they have now almost disappeared from the market and are therefore becoming increasingly difficult to obtain.
