A beautiful specimen of babingtonite crystals over calcite from Roncari Quarry, Hartford County, Connecticut, USA. It comes from the collection of Stephen J. Gerome, MA, USA, with a label. The babingtonite crystals are very well shaped with a black color. Colorless calcite crystal with yellow hue forms the base. It is sharp lustrous and very well formed. It is transparent.
