Fluorcalciopyrochlore, zircon, aegirine, titanite (Ref: beo05)
Tizi n-Inouzane, High Atlas, Draa-Tafilalet Region, Morocco
53mm x 21mm x 21mm
This specimen comes from quite unique recent find made at Tizi n’Ouazane pass in High Atlas, Morocco. This small find yielded specimens of feldspars with aegirines overgrown by unusual, contrastive yellow zircons, chamosite, megnetite and andradite. But what is the most unusual in this find is presence of the fluorcalciopyrochlore at some specimens. This is first time when collectors quality pyrochlore were identified from Morocco. Specimen offered here contains fluorcalciopyrochlore, zircon, aegirine and titanite. Fluorescent under UV light. From: Spirifer Minerals
