Here we have a significant and relatively old Sardinian specimen from Monte Mesu near Villamassargia of Carbonia-Iglesias Province. This highly aesthetical piece features several amber-golden and absolutely GEMMY tabular Baryte crystals. They are super lustrous, very sharp and excellent terminated. The largest crystal here is showing a beautiful offset colour-zoning and wonderful beveled edges. A stunning piece, almost pristine. Only at the very periphery are minor contacts as usual. Pieces like this one are seldom offered for sale due to the fact, that the great finds (1970s and 1980s) of this superb material are still over.From: Wendel Minerals
