Hematite & Rutile (Ref: 1196)

Here we have a super aesthetic specimen with two tabular clusters of Hematite on matrix, reminiscent to a butterfly. Cavradi Hematites are a classic, treasured by the strahlers who find them in alpine mountain clefts. This is a superb miniature of excellent quality. It features two 3-dimensional crystals up to 3,3 cm, freestanding and fully exposed, on contrasting light beige matrix. The crystals have fat beveled terminations, not the thin blades you often see. It is accented by small, bright red Rutile crystals which grow on the surface and serve to highlight the incredible metallic luster around them. This super piece in MUCH BETTER IN PERSON. The pictures cannot convey the superb 3-dimensionality and high quality.
