Euclase - unusually large gem crystal (Ref: 22.1-304-(YL))

An exceptional sharp and large gem crystal of nearly colorless Euclase (with a slight yellow tint) from an old find in the Ferruginha Pegmatite in Minas Gerais. We have seen very few from this locality and this is by far the largest, and in fact one of the largest from anyplace in Brazil. A quick scan of the Mindat pages for Brazilian Euclase has over 160 examples but only 3 are this size or larger, and this one is especially well-formed. A Custom Acrylic base is included as well. Ex. collection of Thomas Campbell, this is 26.5 grams of nearly all gem grade Euclase.
