This is a Rhodochrosite on Tetrahedrite from Corner Pocket, Sweet Home Mine, Mount Bross, Alma District, Park Co., Colorado, USA. The Corner Pocket of the late 1990's remains one of the best single finds of Sweet Home rhodochrosite for a number of reasons: the large crystal size, cherry color, translucency, and the startling contrast on desirable black matrix of crystallized tetrahedrite.From: The Arkenstone
