A splendid specimen of evansite with marvelous blue color from Wenshan, Yunnan, China. Evansite is a rare phosphate. These are among the world's best for the species from a recent find. It displays a rich blue color to some lighter blue areas. The crystals are irregular with botryoidal habit. It shows on both sides. In very good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base., Wonderful!
