Chrysocolla ( pseudo Gypsum? ) (Ref: RG0443)
Mammoth-St. Anthony Mine, Mammoth District, Tiger, Pinal County, Arizona, USA
124mm x 92mm x 50mm
minID: EDL-KLE
$695
Botryoidal, robin-egg blue Chrysocolla covers this specimen and hosts numerous, greenish-blue Chrysocolla pseudomorphs after an unknown elongated mineral, possibly Gypsum. Some of the pseudomorphs are doubly terminated and up to 28 mm long. Although there is some minor damage, this is a fine and large example from Tiger, Arizona, which is not know for producing many of these pseudomorphs. This would make an outstanding addition to any Arizona or Tiger collection.Data last checked on 19th Aug 2022
