Many lustrous, rich royal-blue Henmilite (an exceptionally rare calcium copper boro-hydroxide) crystals to 3 mm are perched on contrasting matrix of white Calcite with small pockets of clear Olshanskyite (a rare calcium boro-hydroxide). The Fuka Mine is the type locality for both Henmilite and Olshanskyite. The Henmilite are euhedral, triclinic pinacoidal crystals. An unknown pale-blue earthy mineral is present on the Calcite and as a coating on some Henmilite crystals. A small patch of an unknown yellow mineral is also present. These specimens were found in 2004, and collecting thereafter was prohibited. This is a very richly covered specimen. If you don't have one of these, take advantage of this opportunity to get this one. They have essentially disappeared from the marketplace. No damage.Data last checked on 28th Apr 2025 - specimen may no longer be available
