Frazer's Hush Mine, Rookhope District, Weardale, County Durham, Northern Pennines, England
A knob of dark limestone matrix is covered on all sides with cubes of purple Fluorite to 16 mm across. Many of the Fluorites are penetration twins. There are a few bruises, but overall this large specimen is in great condition, and displays well from all sides. The Fluorite fluoresces intense purple in UV.
