Brilliant Cadmium yellow color Smithsonite from this very small, ancient mine. Worked only from 1862-1863, this held a colorful vein of Smithsonite that was waste rock at the time but today are prized as one of the few true Cadmium Smithsonites. Ex Lindsay Greenback (an old secured minerals label is included) specimen, this has good luster and the rich color that is the most desirable. A few bruises mostly on the edges but in reasonable condition overall as seen. There are fluorescent zones as well, these are not very often available and this has color better than most.
