An extremely sharp 28 mm halite crystal associated with white sylvite. It is the presence of the sylvite that caused the blue coloration of the halite. This is an example of the best quality crystals that have come from this now famous find. The crystal is perfect apart from the small contact with clay seen on the right. Crystals "floating" in sylvite were the hardest specimens to come by.From: Enchanted Minerals
