Tall cluster of glassy purple Axinite crystals. The Axinite are grown atop a green matrix with large Quartz crystals on the bottom. This is a specimen that could be trimmed into multiple good pieces. This is good specimen for a California collector or someone inclined to trim out a great small cabinet piece. One of the Quartz has nice inclusions of Axinite crystals, which are cut and sold by the carat by lapidary enthusiasts.From: Marin Minerals
